Hi,
I didn't have this issue when I was previously with sky broadbandm but since upgrading to Fiber I am often getting very high ping spikes through ethernet, connected directly to the router. It makes gaming almost impossible and has become unbearably frustrating, anywhere from 300ms up to 600ms spikes every few seconds. I have tried everything but can't work out why this would be the case.
Currently there are about 17 devices that connect to the Sky Hub router, most of which through WiFi. None of these are downloading in the background, so I have no idea why it would keep spiking like it is.
Can anyone suggest any tests or ways to potentially fix this? Many thanks
Dave
