Variation in speed

New fibre connection in January, previous speed 40mbps. My new speed varies from 30 to 160 mbps when router is connected via ethernet cable to desktop pc 1 metre away. Sky said 11 devices on system is too many, after disconnecting all devises bar 4 no inprovement. Sky sent me a better ethernet cable but makes no difference. Each time sky checks my speed its working fine.

A screenshot of an ethernet speed test along with the stats would be useful

Changing from desktop pc to Lenovo laptop but have had to order an ethernet to usb adapter wich will take 3 days.
