@nannybon VPNs require a steady connection if you are using a device connected by WiFi interference could cause packet loss which can cause the VPN to drop. Simply rebooting your Sky hub can help as that causes the hub to find the least congested wifi channel which can help,in the short term.
Connecting your work device by Etgernet is the best solution if the issue is interference but failing that improving tge WiFi in yiur home can help,or buying a powerliine nnetworking kit that uses the mains wiring to carry the data are sensible wirkrounds.
