Hi
Sorry if this is a repeat question. I am struggling with my upload speed now I WFH - it averages 0.9mbps but does show as 1mbps on a lot of days. My neighbour's download and upload is very similar (also Sky) .
Have spoken to Sky and they said we're getting a service and that's the end of it. In contract until November 2025 and would need to buy out of the contract for about £280. This speed just feels ridiculous in this day and age.
Here are my router stats. Do I have any options please? Thanks for reading.

You are on a good ADSL connection, but unfortunately that's the oldest form of broadband still in use and has a maximum outbound speed of 1.2 (one point two) Mbs.
Your connection is running at 20Mbs inbound and 1.1Mbs outbound: there's no option to trade inbound for outbound speed.
To get faster upload you'd have to switch to FTTC or FTTP broadband (if available at the address)

Thank you, so just have to suck it up? ☹️
I wouldn't mind but not really worth £38/mth

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband type(s) serve the location.
https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome
It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.
Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.

Sadly you appear to be in one of the few percent of UK locations not currently served by anything other than ADSL, so you wouldn't be able to order better service from Sky, BT or any other Openreach ISP.
Is the address particularly remote?

No, in centre of a medium sized town but pretty deprived. Very close to the exchange too.

ADSL comes from the exchange, and close proximity was actually a factor working against FTTC deployment. Realistically you're probably waiting for the national FTTP rollout to reach the area because there's now no active FTTC programme.

Thank you very much!

Try the Openreach lookup here:
https://www.openreach.com/broadband-network/fibre-availability
Realistically until FTTP arrives you'd need to look at alternatives such as cellular or even satellite, unless there's Virgin or an altnet ISP laying its own cable locally.
