Upgrading to Fibre Broadband

I am still waiting for my upgrade to fibre.  I had an original date booked for an Openreach engineer on 15th November but was then contacted by Openreach to say they could offer me an earlier appointment of Saturday 19th October between 8-1pm.  I waited in all day and no one came I am now being told by sky that I will be contacted on 29th October with an update on my order.  I can't say this supposed simple upgrade as been a great experience so far and I am paying for the enigneering this month.  What is the delay?

No-one in this forum can give you specific information, but if it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.

https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL/AddressHome

It's the table and the two text lines below it which are most useful.

Remove any personal information (such as the address itself) if you post an image.
