Upgrading broadband

Do you have to have an engineer come to install broadband for an upgrade even if you already have broadband with them?

@Kelly1902 if you are switching from a partial fibre service to full fibre an engineer will come out to install the new fibre connection.

If it's in the UK, putting the address into the BT Wholesale Availability Checker should indicate which broadband provisioning type is applicable.
