I have paid for the upgrade, from 25mps to 500mps and sky are still not giving me the speed I have paid for.
25Mbs to 500Mbs suggests a move from FTTC to FTTP: if the FTTP infrastructure installation hasn't happened yet then there's no way to deliver that kind of speed.

@Dominic1616 When you say you arent getting the speed you pay for what tests are you doing that make you think you arent getting the full speed? If over wifi you most likely wont get the full 500meg unless basically next to the router.

Morning, sorry for de delay.
The full to house fibre instalation is already installed at the property. From what i understand there should be no problems in giving me that speed through the fibre if they promised the could.
It has now been around 8 days and the speed is 70/80 mbps more or less.
Interestingly i receiveed an email yesterday stating that due to the speed promise that they havent kept their promise on their side i am free to leave the contract whenever with no penalties.
My question now is are they going to sort out my internet speed or is it just going to stay as it is ?
