I'm having a couple issues with the wifi service.
Since I've had it, it's shown an unstable connection which I can see by using Sky's Broadband test. It has resulted in web calls being terminated randomly. I assume this is an issue with the port and not the device because the device seems to maintain a steady speed and signal throughout the flat.
I've taken normal steps, powering off the router/modem to cycle the power. Which hasn't worked. For a time, I used a secondary router put into extender mode (ASUS AC2900 Gigabit Router) in order to get the signal to my desktop on the otherside of my flat. The router (the ASUS) would frequently disconnect due to the Sky modem dropping the connection and then suddenly boot back up. Because the ASUS would rely on a stable connection to maintain an IP address, it would fail to reconnect.
Has anyone had this issue with an unstable connection?

Yes. Similar issues. Testing shows broadband and Wi-Fi to be working properly, but neither my wife's nor my phone works as well as it used to with our previous broadband supplier. Quite often the speeds I'm getting are only a fraction of what they should be, particularly in the evening. .

I haven't had that issue exactly. My connection seems to be alright except for the stability issue. When it's on, I can connect to it. There are just occasional sudden drops.
