Unplugged green cable from open eir fibre box when decorating

IMG_7288.jpeg

I unplugged the green cable from the open eir fibre box when decorating and now there is a closed yellow seal where it used to plug in... anyone know how to fix / allow me to plug it in?

I'd imagine that's a spring-loaded cover which has snapped shut: it looks like it might open by hinging towards the wall.

Or it could push inwards: there definitely appears to be a silver coil spring parallel to the wall.
