I have BT Openreach appointment today confirmed but no router has been sent. I have received an Ethernet cable but NO router. I was to a new router will be sent. Will the BT engineer have one?

That suggests Sky records indicate you already have a Sky Broadband Hub (SR203): the ethernet cable goes between this and the Openreach ONT.
