Tv comparability

I have recently bought a Smart 4k LG TV which has not been compatible with updating the smart apps including Netflix giving error code 24.20.SM I have tried all of the trouble shooting methods but can't get past the error. Including hotspot/ splitting broadband etc. 
I now need to change the tv, can anyone recommend which brand of tv is best with sky broadband and sky stream?

@HollyMartin LG TVs should work with Sky broadband however you can have issues there are a couple of things to try. Firstly go into the My Sky app find the settings for your Sky Max hub go to the advanced page and wifi security and check that the setting is WPA2 as the more advanced WPA3-T setting can cause issues. 

The second suggestions is to reboot your TV which requires you to unplug mains power to the set until the power led goes out then reconnect the power which should cause the set yo reload its WebOS system. This often clears errors like yours.Also check that the.set is running the latest firmware from LG by enbling automatic updates in the connection menu.

However if neither work simply use the apps on the Sky Stream puck as Sky manage these remorely so they never need to be manually updated.
