Track Order Router

I had visit by sky engineer today as broadband was very slow and kept cutting out. I decided to change to superfast with sky talk which he kindly ordered for me.

He was going to change the old router to a updated hub but didn't as one should be sent automatically with order. Track my order shows that the hub was delivered today by engineer. I telephoned sky and explained that l didn't have a new hub only phone socket was charged. I was told that if I needed a new hub it would be after open reach activation on 21/06/24 and could use my old one in the meantime. My old  sky Q hub is not supefast or for telephone.

Has anyone had this problem?. Thanks

@JAE4 if you are moving toma new service vhanging yhe hub now is unlikely to make much difference yhe main difference between the old Q hub and the newer Broadband Hub is slightly better wifi and the provision for the voice service via a phonecsocket on the back. Thevtwo hubs connect at the same speed to the line.

Thank you. I spoke to another advisor who said error on system and was going to send another router by Monday. No spare ports for phone
