The PON light on my Openreach ONT is red
Hi, I'm experiencing a broadband issue. The PON light on my Openreach ONT is solid red, which I understand indicates a loss of fibre signal.
I've already tried the following:
Restarted the Openreach ONT
Restarted my Sky Broadband Hub
Checked that the green optical cable is securely connected and undamaged
Despite this, the PON light remains red and there is no internet connection.

Re: The PON light on my Openreach ONT is red
@HQuinn the ONT has lost its Passive. Optical Network hence the red PON light. Given the time of your post it is quite likely Openreach have taken down the OLT kit at your exchange for maintenance which is done overnight. if so your service will be back up this morning. If it isnt there is a fault between the exchange and your ONT which requires reprting to Sky so Openreach can check the line.

@Chrisee thanks for the comment.
Sky sending Openreach for the 24th since it didn't come back on and is still on red. Sky said they can't see any problems even after the 2 photos I provided so shall have to see what happens on the 24th.
