Terrible wifi
I have switched to the new router with pods and connection is terrible! I am at a loss of what to do. Feel like I'm throwing money away. Anything I start watching it either disconnects half way through or the boxes constantly disconnect! I can't stream anything! Also disconnects our phones constantly and the WiFi goes off several times a day. I contact sky and get no help .

Re: Terrible wifi
@SaraC22 if you have bought Sky's WiFi Max bundle they should send out an engineer to optimise the network. However Sky's WiFi Max bundle does not suit all homes including my own. I found I got better coversge and saved some money by not paying monthly for WiFi. Max and instead buying a cheap 3 unit home WiFi system, you may find the same. The issue with Sky's system is that the pids and hub use a 5GHz signal to communicatecwhich is great if your home has thin internal walls but less good with solid internal walls or as in my case a retaining wall.

Re: Terrible wifi
Hi Chrisee what was the system you bought? I am clueless to all of this. They did send an engineer but he wasn't interested or much help . I was told to wire all the boxes in but these new pods can't be wired in and I live in an old Victorian house so it would be difficult to do . Thanks Sara
