Terrible service!!!!!!

It's been a few months now that every day my internet goes in and out multiple times a day - around 30/40 times a day. I work from home and it's almost impossible to use my sky broadband. I'm having to connect wi tv my EE data for work. The chat support is terrible too. Through the app I ran the 'check my connection' feature and it shows everything is fine - I ran it while my WiFi router was displaying amber lights. What the hell?? Can I please get some proper help!

Re: Terrible service!!!!!!

My service is terrible, but I work around it by constantly resetting the hub and tethering my phone in the meantime.

@Urouj @CoolCrap @Neil468 therecis no "national issue" as if there was rather than 3 people complaing it wiuld be many thousands. The online service checker takes up to an hour to pick up a dropped connection but once it does it can walk you through somesteps and book an engineer.

Where there are multiple short drops the automatic systems are less helpful so if the affects you give Sky a call to see if they can get the network operator who are either Openreach or City Fibre to check your line.

Re: Terrible service!!!!!!

How would we know if thousands others are complaining or not. Not everyone would turn to this sky community chat. It's not like this chat solves anything.

FYI downdetector is a useful tool for seeing if any of the main ISP's are having issues https://downdetector.co.uk/status/sky/

As can be seen when I checked it just now there were no current issues.
