Terrible WiFi speeds at night
Every night after 21-21:30pm the internet becomes awful, can't stream tv upstairs and can barely use our phones on the wifi! So frustrating!

Re: Terrible WiFi speeds at night
@Lukas8 Service checker or diagnostics may not find or clear this fault but it is a starter to try. I would do a speed test when you think you have a good working time 10am, 2pm, 6pm etc and note those down, then also when you are struggling, you need to find out if you are getting data starved. Links for the two other sky test below, you pick the speed test you need, something that gives you a history like ookla app.
If you haven’t done it already use the below link to check to see if there are any broadband problems or outages nearby
https://www.sky.com/servicechecker
Try running the line test here to see if any faults are found:

You can also run the test via the MySky app on a mobile data connection.

Re: Terrible WiFi speeds at night
Hello again!
been keeping an eye on this for a while now, but no difference in speed between when it all seems to be working fine and when we get awful internet at night. Roughly around 30mbps at all times of day, but always at this time of night every device we have starts to struggle

@Lukas8 What hub do you have, see link below, also do you know what the speed package you signed up with sky for was!

Re: Terrible WiFi speeds at night
It's a Sky Max Hub and estimated speeds on this contract were 32-36
Thank you!

Re: Terrible WiFi speeds at night
@Lukas8 Just never used that hub, and do not think that there is anyway to get the required useful information from it as it is all mobile app based, If it is a wi-fi issue then the only way is to speed test with an Ethernet connected device when it all slows down, if that pops up with full speed then for sure you know it is wireless. Have linked below what would have been good on the older SR203 black hub, so maybe you could look around if there is a way to see on that Max hub.
How to read your Sky Hub statistics

Re: Terrible WiFi speeds at night
@Lukas8 Other thing you maty wish to consider is a FREE wi-fi analyser app for your phone, i use netspot, good at showing what is going on around you with wi-fi signalling, even got a speed test with it that is not too bad but for sure is not the best.
