Telegraph pole valid

The line to our house from the telegraph pole has to be removed as there is damage around it and we don't want it put back but I need to know if it will affect my Sky Services

Terrestrial broadband requires either a copper 'phoneline' or a fibre optic cable.

@Jewels51 If you still have a broadband connection and that is still working without the Cable now from the Pole then OR will not string a copper cable back to you as no longer needed!

The wire is still there at the moment, Openreach are coming to take it down in a few weeks but need to know before that happens.

@Jewels51 Currently do you get the Broadband with the sky Hub plugged into a Openreach Master telephone socket!

Openreach isn't permitted to deprive an address of connectivity, so they must have a solution.  Unfortunately they may well not have a mechanism for keeping you informed, and Sky probably had no idea.
