Teclast android tablet connected to WiFi but Internet only holds for a minute before dropping out

Teclast android tablet connects to WiFi but often (nearly always) has no Internet connection. Forget and reset will occasionally get Internet for a minute before dropping out. Will not auto connect. None of my smart plugs, several manufacturers, will connect with the router. All show poor WiFi signal. Phone, laptop and ipad all show strong wifi signal and good Internet connection.
