Tech support?

I was put over to a Tech Support re a problem I had about reconnecting my house phone......unbeknownst to me I have been charged £35.00 for nothing, as the help I had was from an actual Sky employee at the time....the phone should have been connected at the time the fibre was installed.

@Tinamac1983

Your post isn't very clear, what is the £35 charge for?

The landline connection can take 24 hours or so to become fully operational after the broadband is activated.

@Tinamac1983

A call to Sky shouldn't see you being charged £35 so how did you find the numbner to call them on ?

The phoen connection should plug into the back of your broadband hub so have you tried this ?

@Tinamac1983 is the charge on your Sky account or your phone bill? If the latter you have inadvertently used a call forwarding service using a premium rate number to contact Sky. Sky's direct support numbers all start 03 and are charged as normal calls or are free if dialled from a sky talk or sky mobile line.
