Switching from BT

Hey

I'm looking to switch my broadband over but with my existing broadbnd co BT they provided me with booster discs to ensure I have coverage across my house as my property is long.  The router wi fi won't stretch that far.  If I love to sky will the same equipment be provided ?  Thanks

if you have the white disks then they should work with the Sky hub but if you have the black disks these only work with the BT Hub

As below :-

BT Mini Whole Home Wi-Fi, Pack of 3 Discs, Mesh Wi-Fi for seamless, speedy (AC1200) Connection, Wi-Fi everywhere in medium to large homes, App for complete control and 3 year warranty https://amzn.eu/d/ebvVD2M

But you may want to consider sky booster mesh box which should be free if you have a sky q satellite receiver or £5 pm as part of broadband boost and you don't get at least 3Mbps in everyroom

Sky loans wireless booster hardware free under the terms of the 'WiFi Guarantee' element of 'Broadband Boost' and the 'Enhanced Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' part of the 'WiFi Max' subscription supplement: they don't otherwise provide or sell them except to resolve issues with Sky Q. Phoning Sky to go through a telephone diagnosis is required to have a booster or pod allocated to the account. Inevitably some have leaked onto a certain auction site, but Sky won't offer support with using these.

Confusingly the 'Wall to Wall WiFi Guarantee' doesn't actually provide booster hardware, and is essentially a sales lead generator for the supplements mentioned above.
