Re: Support phone number for broadband
My bad, I thought you were a sky employee. It's just frustrating they make it so hard to get in touch

An update as of December 2025. For anyone searching for a customer service number having tried everything else it seems they are no longer providing a phone support number in this location. When you scroll down as suggested this is what I got:

Re: Support phone number for broadband
@mscarlyon Dial 150 from your landline phone, also the same if you happen to have a sky mobile!

Re: Support phone number for broadband
@mscarlyon
It has been a while since this thread was started. These are the current methods for contacting Sky, and some will be more appropriate than others …
🟧 📞 Customer Services by dialling 150 (free) from either a Sky mobile or your Sky Talk landline if you have Sky Broadband. The forum doesn’t allow the display of other numbers but official numbers to Sky from the UK are 03 numbers which are usually inclusive from non Sky phones.
All calls will start automated (aka ‘the bot’) which may offer you the online help route or try to send you here to the forum. Stay on the line as long as possible and sometimes saying nothing when asked the reason for the call helps being put in the queue for an agent.
🟧online help via this link
https://www.sky.com/help
If necessary a number may be visible at the end of the correct help flow.
🟧Sky Assistant 💬 should also be available via
https://www.sky.com/help
for most service issues and gives you 24/7 help and a quick response. It should provide you with multiple choice options based on your problem and will provide troubleshooting steps to fix any service issues.
🟧Social Media You can also get in touch via the messaging services on Facebook or Instagram, (links at the bottom of the forum page).
🟩Note ~ ROI customers If you’re in the ROI make sure the flag in the bottom right of the link is showing the correct flag and change if required. The Sky Ireland phone lines are closed at a weekend.
NOTE: I only provide help on the forum boards so Direct Messaging is switched off

Re: Support phone number for broadband
The problem I'm having with broadband is also affecting my landline phone, and I don't use Sky Mobile. I've been told via the Sky app that an engineer will need to visit but have not been told when or given any time frame for when this work will be completed. My internet has been down for three days now.
It is frustrating that they don't contact you or update directly in any way even once they've acknowledged there's a problem. I completed an online form which got me to do loads of checks and obvious stuff (is it plugged in etc) , then didn't give me any feedback at the end on next measures. Next I tried the AI chat bot and went round and round in circles with it, hoping to get a phone number eventually , but no.

Re: Support phone number for broadband
Unfortunately @Daniel0210 the only significant update to your list of ways to get in touch seems to be that there is no longer any obvious route to phone support with a human. Or human support via text, email or social media.
As previously mentioned it is frustrating that they don't contact you or update directly in any way, even once they've acknowledged there's a problem. I started off completing an online form as prompted which got me to do loads of checks and obvious stuff (is it plugged in etc). While it seemed to at least acknowledge there was a problem, I wasn't given any specific feedback or confirmation on what would happen next. No email, no text, nothing to say 'we've registered the issue and will be doing 'x' to fix it'. I then tried the AI chat bot and went round and round in circles with it, hoping it might eventually give me a phone number if I persisted in asking questions it couldn't answer. But it didn't.
After scouring the internet I eventually found a Sky TV customer service number which took me round another series of endless prompts, no options to speak to a human, but which thankfully ended in the AI response voice telling me that an engineer appointment had actually been booked ! It even showed up in the order section in the Sky app! but not when, or how long it would take to fix. The next day it was marked 'completed' in green but that was several days ago and I am none the wiser and my internet is still down.
It's so exhausting and time consuming. Other companies have email support or WhatsApp so you at least have everything in one place to refer to in a thread. Not sure who I'm complaining to now, as I can see there's no one here who can help me with this! It's great you are telling people the other ways to get in touch with Sky, but for many of us, we've already tried everything and are still stuck here with no service and no way to speak to someone.
For clarity , my internet and landline are both down, and I don't use Sky Mobile.

Re: Support phone number for broadband
I'm sorry, I don't know who you are and it seems you're trying to help, but not offering anything of use to my query. As clearly stated in my previous message (which perhaps you didn't read?), I tried three different ways to speak directly to Sky (I can't dial 150 as my landline is down and I don't have Sky mobile). I jumped through all the hoops. Online form, then AI chat, then a Sky TV customer service number which though I stayed on the line for quite some time gave me no option to speak to a human being. It did confirm I had a problem that needed fixing and that an appointment had been booked. But no confirmation or route for further contact for updates. That was three days ago.
There must be other people in this situation, surely?

Re: Support phone number for broadband
See this article in the About section from the top of the forum page. You'll see that we are customers just like you as the bold type under our user name explains.
https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Superusers/bd-p/meetthesuperusers
If you go into the online help I've posted it should lead to a phone number. Apart from the 150 number for Broadband and Mobile customers other numbers aren't allowed on the forum.

Re: Support phone number for broadband
@mscarlyon if you have not been given a date or time the engineer will check your line but should not need to visit your property modt faults are fixed remotely. Keep an eye on the My Orders section of the My Sky app as thst show an update. The time required to fix a fault is impossible to predict so calling Sky is pretty pointless as they cannot tell you anything useful.
After 2 full working days you start to accrue compensation see Customer Auto-Compensation | Sky Help | Sky.com
However if you do feel the need to call Sky do an online search for Sky Customer Services number BUT only use results starting 03 to avoid rip=off cal forwarding pirates.
