In my opinion just keep the wifi bands seperated. The devices can still move from 1 band to the other depending on which signal is stronger

Hi I followed the guide on splitting that you posted I click in 5ghz etc and then in 2ghz but as soon as I did that my camera wouldn't conned again. Does it mean my signal stays at 2.4ghz for everything? I'm on hub cause signal in my house is so pants. Any advice would be appreciated

Hi I followed the steps by @DipDipDipam said earlier. When I'm on 5 the camera picks up the signal. I can install my camera when I'm using the cameras wifi. Once I revert back to my wifi the camera won't connect anymore.
Steps to install camera. Turn it on. Select the ipcam on phones wifi list. Join that network. Install camera using qr code. Then turn my phone wifi back to sky. Camera is then on network when I had a 2.4ghz rooter.
I not have the booster hub. I followed up to stage
enter 5ghz step and unselect sync both ghz and changed sddis to -camera.
camera- is now a wifi channel for my devices on 2.4ghz
now all of my devices are using 2.4ghz. Cause it doesn't recognise the 5ghz anymore. This is where I come unstuck

Edit as my phone autocorrected me
i have a 5ghz hub now the booster range.
Once I do the steps with 5ghz section all of my devices run on 2.4ghzand I have poop internet again. How do I get everything else other than the camera to run on 5ghz and camera on 2.4ghz

So there is an option for me to put my 2.4ghz camera on that frequency while everything else sits nicely on the 5ghz with no issues?
if this is the case would you mind giving me a step by step guide on how to do it please?

Is that pretty much what @DipDipDipam said? If so I get as far as unchecking syncronize on 5ghz and apply then reload my camera.
when I go into 2.4ghz I'm not sure what he means to do when I get to that part

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Cescax follow the instructions in the link further up the thread but edit the name of the 2.4GHz band so you know which one is which. Assuming your changes work on your devices you will see 2 SSIDs for your network not one. Faster devices should remain connected to the 5GHz band as thst has the same details as before. You can then connect the camera to the new 2.4GHz band
if possible make the changes using a device connected by ethernet you can use a wireless device but you will lose the network connection as soon as the hub reboots and not get it back for several minutes. Apple devices using ios have an issue with Sky hubs where changes dont szve even if you can make the changes in the first olace it if you absolutely have to use an iPhone or iPad use Chrome rather than Safari and expect to make several attempts.
