Splitting frequency

Can anyone tell me gow to split frequency? Just got Sky 5g in but realise some of my devices will only work on 2.4g. They sent out a line engineer vyt he said it needs to be done in the office. Wondering if I can just sort it myself

To avoid confusion, in WiFi it's 5Ghz and 2.4Ghz (frequency)

'G' is used to mean 'Generation' of mobile phone broadcast and reception technology.
