Splitting WiFi bands on Sky Max Hub
I need to split the WiFi bands so that some devices connect to the 2.4GHz band rather than the 5GHz band. The device becomes unstable when connected to 5GHz. I can see there's advice for other Sky router but not the Max Hub. Grateful for any help.

Re: Splitting WiFi bands on Sky Max Hub
There is an option via your my sky app to disable 5ghz temporarily before re enabling it
Sky Stream , Sky Superfast, SR203 router, Tp link td w9970 + Asus RT AX58U (backup), Xbox Series X, google home mini, LG 55 inch uhd tv, with Dolbyvision, samsung a5 2017 and samsung s21
If I get it right mark as answered
If I get it wrong humour me
If I say something you like give a thumbs up

Re: Splitting WiFi bands on Sky Max Hub
@cookiemonsteruk thanks for the reply and forgive my ignorance but if I disable the 5GHz and then enable it won't the problem device try to connect back up to this at at some point? If I could rename the 2.4GHz band I can make sure it stays on that.
