Split 2.4 and 5G

Hello, We are joining Sky Broadband and I wonder if anyone could tell me if it's still possible to split broadband in to 2.4 and 5G on the new Router (not max) we will get so our 2.4 devices will connect easier?

My daughter also has Sky Broadband and when trying to access the Router settings web page (192.168.0.1) she is asked for an Admin Password.

She has   SKYXXXXX

PW              12 Characters

PIN              8 Characters

Mac             12 Characters

SER              14 Characters

Is the PIN the Admin Password?

Thank you.

No, the password for Hub admin access on a Sky Broadband Hub is the same as that for Wifi, while for a Q Hub the credentials are admin / sky

The PIN is for a form of WPS which has largely been discontinued because a cryptographic error means it's insecure.

Note that there's a known problem with accessing the admin interface wirelessly using the Safari browser on an Apple device.
