Smart Bulbs with Max Hub

Has anyone found smart bulbs that work with the Max Hub? I've currently got a couple of Calex smart candles, and although I got them connected with the 5ghz turned off, the second it goes back on they become unresponsive.

I've found smart plugs that work on 5ghz, allegedly, but 5ghz smart bulbs appear to be non existent.

Hi @Burribro

Most smart devices work with the Sky hub even with 5ghz switched on so it could be a quirk with the specific model you have. Have you tried any others?

Re: Smart Bulbs with Max Hub

The Smart Plugs I have (Meross 110's) are just refusing to hold signal with the 5ghz on. They'll connect, drop out, and when they do connect it takes 10 minutes to register I've asked them to turn on and off. They are a couple of years old, so it could well be the model.

Curiously, my lightbulbs now work through the Calex app. I didn't change any settings, didn't reset them, just opened the app up one day (to try and reset them) and it just worked off the bat. They wont, for love nor money, work through my Amazon Alexa though, so I'm starting to think that might be the problem. I will try to connect them through the 2.4ghz frequency and see if that makes a difference in connections.
