@TomOtts check the service checker in the My Sky app to see if the issue is slow spedds to your hub. However in most cases the issue with Firesticks and Ring doorbells is insufficent WiFi signal in your home.
Firesticks are a common problem due to their size and the fact they are plugged in behind TVs which means most of the WiFi signal is blocked bybth metal in the TV and their tiny aerial in the stick is not that efficent in receiving what does get to the unit. Amazon sell HDMI extrenders so the stick can be placed out in the open which is less tidy but far better for wifi reception.
Ring doorbells are another problem device because by definition they are installed on the outside of a double thickness wall which blocks a lot of the WiFi signal. If your hub is in the hall it can work but often you need a booster close by to get sufficent signal to work.
