Slow speeds just one room away from the Router
Getting about 600 mbs next to the router and only 240mbs in a bedroom above the router.

@IanJoyce those speeds are fairly typical as the aerials in routers are optimised in a horizontal coverage and tgecsignal has to pass through a ceiling and a floor
. 240Mb/s is more than sufficent for most activities as most apps cannot use more than 100Mb/s so apart from an impact on download speeds the speed should not cause issues .If you require speeds over 500Mb/s in that room either buy a decent whole home WiFi setup or perhaps buy a powerline networking kit.
