I was persuaded to switch from Vodafone which was pretty stable to sky broadband by a sky engineer.
Have had issues with it being slow and dropping out. I've lost count how many times I've rebooted the router.
I upped the package from Sky Full Fibre 500 to Sky Full Fibre Gigafast (which should give 900 speed).
This made no difference.
I have 2 MacMinis, a Rasberry Pie 2 iPhones and 2 iPads connected and 8 smart plugs, 2 Air conditioners, a TV and Sky Q.
if this is too much for it then I was sold a pup.
Skys AI help chat is useless and can't find a phone number which may have a human on the end.
The nearest device to the routeris a Sky box which sky installed when I had Sky Q. Its about 18 inches away.
My computers are about 2 foot 6 inches away.
Any ideas anyone?

@Colwl if you arexwithin the first 31 days and you arecin the UK you can cancel without penalty. However I would raise your issue with Sky. I know their phone system is a pain and you havecto get past the bot as therexare no magic numbers that bypass it. Brst advice is not to engage with it and youbshould be queued for an agent.
Sky's hubs sre not the best WiFi performers but I doubt they are much worse than Vodafone's so something is not right. While distance from the hub to a device is important the laws of physics makes what lies between the hub snd your device the main factor affecting speed. .
65inch Sky Glass, 3 Sky Streaming Pucks, Sky Ultrafast + and Sky SR213(white Wifi Max hub) main Wifi from 3 TP-Link Deco M4 units in access point mode

Re: Slow and non existent wifi
I switched to Sky broadband in February (26th I think) so well past the 31 days.
I started an on line chat but lost connection due to Wi-Fi drop out.
Tried phoning but it's an AI which I can't stand. It sent me a text with a 6 digit number. AI couldn't understand so I typed it in and immediately got cut off!
I've emailed them and await a call.
I'm loosing patience with them.
