I have changed from copper with sky to sky ultrafast fibre a few weeks ago and I am finding that the internet/wifi is slow and when I check broadband etc on sky it shows no problems and everyday showing 151mb. I have done all the self checks to death. I should say that the fibre comes via telegraph pole into house to newly located hub

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@SDerm You can use a longer ethternet cable to put it back out in the hallway if you wish that connects to the ONT.

Did you have an optical network terminal fitted ? Which is full fibre to the property, do you have a grey box outside ? Otherwise you are still on copper line to your house, fttp from sky I have I am on gigafast had it installed back in January this year , 900mps

Hi Peter, I have an optical network terminal fitted. With a slim grey box on outside wall. The engineer had to pull the fibre cable via telegraph pole cable.
