Changed from Talk Talk to Sky Broadband and told Sky would sort the switch. Talk Talk now chasing me for money and haven't been notified by Sky, how long does it take?

You would need to contact sky to find out what type of order was placed
as sky and talk talk both use the open reach network to provide the service the order would be placed as a transfer (with number port) or working line take over (if supplying a new number) both of these are only progressed if the previous provide agrees
If talk talk are chasing you for money you were either still in contract with them or their services was listed at a different address to that used by sky
if you dial 150 from your sky line they can check this for you

Thanks.
Transfer has gone ahead but Talk Talk don't seem to know about it.
Contacting Sky seems tricky, how do I do that? Just keep ending up with Chat bots!

The best way is to dial 150 from your landline or the same number if you are on sky mobile

Thanks, I'll have to get someone to do that for me as I'm away at the moment.

A potential complication is that TalkTalk also uses CityFibre infrastructure to deliver FTTP
