Can anyone help... I have security cameras and the one that looks over the back garden keeps cutting out because the WiFi signal loses connection there. So is it worth getting sky max to boost the signal in that room or better to upgrade to the 900 gigafast ? Both would cost the same to what am paying now . Any help or advise please thanks

@Hug84 As the camera's are not speed devices, consider looking at Powerline with Wi-Fi, will allow you to get a stronger wireless wi-fi signal but not at major speed!

Re: Sky max or upgrade to faster broadband
@Hug84 increasing the speed to the hub will do nothing to improve wifi coverage in your homeif that is your issue. Adding hhe WiFi Max package potentially will help with WiFi coverage in your home. Sky do not guranatee coverage outside your home so external cameras may not get an improvement.

Re: Sky max or upgrade to faster broadband
So the Powerline with Wi-Fi, is that like a plug you can get ? Works the same as sky max basically?

Re: Sky max or upgrade to faster broadband
The WiFi in the room is strong but the camera is mounted out side so I think that's the issue. Someone here mentioned getting a Powerline with Wi-Fi, maybe that would boost it enough to stop it cutting off

Re: Sky max or upgrade to faster broadband
@Hug84 external walls will inevirably reduce wifi signals. A wifi access point inside the home whether connected by powerline or by WiFi might help but if there is a window overlooking the camera place the booster there.
