Hi, I have just changed broadband providers from TalkTalk to Sky and have the White Sky Max Hub. Every device we have is connected apart from the Blink cameras. I have tried to follow all the 'advice' online as to splitting the wifi and renaming the 2.4hz etc (sorry, a bit of a technophobe) but to no avail - I have managed to get into the gateway and when I click on the 2.4ghz to rename, it will not let me go any further - any advice would be much appreciated and I thank you in advance 🙂 (have phoned sky & blink but both deemed that each other was at fault and provided no help and responded like it was a one off issue, judging by the forum, this is not!)

It's not possible to split and rename the wireless bands on the Max Hub as it was on previous models.
What can be helpful for devices such as cameras is to temporarily disable the 5Ghz band: that's done through the My Sky app.

Thank you for your quick reponse Timmy - how does temporary disabling the 5ghz make the cameras work please?

It ensures that the phone or tablet hosting the device control app is on the same band as the device itself so they can communicate for the app to teach the device the appropriate password. Typically a phone will connect to 5Ghz by default while something like a camera is 2.4Ghz only.

I have exactly the same problem and I disabled the 5ghz but this didn't resolve the issue... I was still unable to connect the blink cameras.

Just to add that I found advice to hold the reset button on the camera and/or sync module for 20 seconds and try to connect... IT WORKED .... good luck...
