Hi all , so had to connect the hub 3 back up for now , divert calls to my mobile to get around the voip issue, sky are stumped? so waiting for another hub 4.2 to come but can't see that working as tried a new hub last week 😕,
Good news is getting my maximum speed now 40 Meg, which is good for where I am , up a tree in the amazon 😀

So definitely an issue with the sky hub 4.2,
Tried 3 brand new hubs all of the reduced my speed from 40meg to 23meg , sky hub 3 is giving me 40 Meg, but no voip phone,
Sky have no solution at all!!!
I cannot be the only person out there with this problem

So no further forward, openreach stumped, sky engineers and support desk stumped,
I cannot be the only person with this issue,
Sky hub 4.2 is just halving the speed of my broadband, makes no sense at all just give up ,

Hi, so the issue you are talking about noise level , would this not be the same issue on both the 3 hub and the 4 hub , on the 3 hub I get between 37meg to 40 Meg on the 4.2 hub I get between 18meg to 23meg ,
How would I get this level reduced?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Eddy321 To give you a steady speed on the line with faults the DLM will reduce the speed and hence seeing the increase in the noise margin. The connection would normally return on its own to a decent speed, but if the router is reset a lot then this could be seen as a fault by the DLM and keep reducing it further.

hi so the top one is the 4.2 hub and the one below that is the hub 3, my speed is creeping up to 40meg on the hub 3 but awful on the 4.2 hub

Hi all , does anyone know if the sky business hub 6 works alongside SKY Q system, due to the mesh conflicts?,
just clutching at straw, or a 3rd party hub which will work with voip ,

Hi all update as regards the issue I have had ,
So two broadband engineers came today and replaced the bt backbox and changed the polarity on the socket,
To be honest we can't believe it worked,
So that is one to check,
