Sky cancelled engineer visit
I had the 1pm to 6pm time slot booked. I waited in for 3 hours and 40 minutes only to then receive a text from Sky saying they were unable to come out and I needed to rearrange. I couldnt book the next slot on 19th August (I work full time & its school hols so everyone st work is off) so I booked the 20th but have not received automatic compensation. They cancelled in the middle of my time slot even sending a reminder of my appointment at3.40pm. How can I not be entitled to compensation?

You should be but it takes longer than one day for the credit to be added to your account.

Thank you sorry my error i didnt make it clear the original visit they cancelled was the end of July and i still havnt received compensation. Its not showing on my predicted bills.

@Gingenufc Even though it was end July they missed, until you are changed and working as upgrade etc, once that is all out off the way then comp will be applied, so do not expect to see it in before the end Aug to be effective end Sept! If you do not see it then it will be a call to sky Accounts to get it all sorted, so have your dates ready to confirm with them against the notes on your account!

@Gingenufc to add to @JimM1 's post compensation is only calculated after whatever job has been fully completed. I had a few missed appointments during a fibre install but only got the compensation some weeks after the line was up,and running 3 months later.
