Sky broadband performance with Sky Q mini boxes

I'm currently with Plusnet and have been for years.

Their broadband is very good and reasonably priced - but I can't get a reliable connection to one of my Sky Q mini boxes, even if I use a powerline adaptor.

I'm thinking of moving to Sky broadband but I'm unsure of its reliability.

Will it improve the functionality of the under-performing mini box by effectively using it as a wifi extender?

Switching broadband provider is a big thing, so I'd like to be sure it's the right move for me.

Any thoughts?

Thanks,

Mini box hotspot functionality relies on signal reaching the Mini in the first place: it can't help with getting that there.

You should not need to move to Sky Broadband to address this problem. If you contact Sky and say you are having a connectivity problem with one of your SKy Q mini boxes, they should either send you a Sky booster or send a Sky Q engineer over to look at the mesh.
