The 8.8.8.8 has worked for me! Thank you very much. For those who don't know much about this, like myself, it's the WIFI setting you need to do this for. I had to do it on both my Macbook and my iPhone. Thanks for your help!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@Emhug22 it is isnt difficult to do.Go into the Settings/Wifi then choose the Sky connection and click, scroll down to the line labelled Configure DNS click and change the setting to manual, click on the green cross labelled Add server type 8.8.8.8 and click to save then repeat and add 8.8.4.4 and you should have a list of 4 servers your hub on 192.168.0.1 a line with a long IP6 address you can ignore and the two Google servers. The phone will use all 4.

I switched to EE broadband and my emails are fine on that. The day before the switch I called sky because my sky q mini box kept disconnecting from the main box. The sky person managed to get my email working on sky with iPhone by switching off the child protection setting in the sky q box. Give it a go.
