I have a problem where when I'm using sky wifi at home on my iPhone (sky mobile) the pages on safari don't load and just get stuck. I have to flick off the wifi and go onto 4g to get the page to complete loading. The wifi works perfectly on laptops and tv so what could the issue be and how do I fix it?
all other apps like Spotify, WhatsApp and apps which need internet on my phone seem to work fine it's just web browsing that's an issue

Another workaround I picked up from another thread which works for me is to change the DNS servers from Sky's to a good one (ie Google). You can't do this on the Sky hub (as Sky don't let you change this setting) so have to do it on each device affected. On your phone go to the settings of your WiFi connection to Sky, and change Configure DNS to Manual. Delete any servers that are there and replace with Google's, which are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 - you should also now find pages may load faster!

I am also having this issue, some websites load ok, others just won't load (Rightmove for example). Also have issues where content from some emails won't load, to rectify both I have to switch to 5g (sky). I am on an iPhone with upto date IOS

I have the same issue too. Have to switch to 4g or use google instead of safari. As that browser works fine. Would love to hear from sky on this.

But Sky do know there is a bug when trying to get into the router settings with IOS devices, this is totally different thing.
But it is good that at least you know you can browse the internet on your phone using another browser.

Having something similar when using Safari on my phone. My wife is too. It started about a week ago. Certain pages don't finish loading on Sky WiFi, but are fine if we flick to 4G. Also found it works okay if going through Norton VPN.

Hey all
I turned off broadband sheild filter and it all works fine.
As I have kids I put a filter on to restrict websites so just turned it off.
All works fine now.

I am also having this issue. My Ultrafast Sky Broadband is working on all my devices except on our iPhones. Anyone found a fix, this is increasingly frustrating.

Hi @Davidthe1st
I've had the same issues, I used the following fix on an iPhone 13. Settings> WI-FI> select your sky Wi-Fi network >turn off "limit IP address tracking". This worked fine for me, I've been able to keep my broadband shield settings switched on.

I've just turned off "Limit IP Address Tracking" and the WiFi is magically working on my phone; seems like a brand new phone. I'll keep an eye on how it behaves.

This has been infuriating but I have also just turned off "Limit IP Address Tracking" and the WiFi on safari is working faster than I can blink... does anyone know what turning off "Limit IP Address Tracking" does?

Apple, as usual, being too clever for its own good.
