Sky broadband installation

Hello,

so just curious I'm moving into my own flat around the 14th of December, and want to get sky broadband that. Can run my PC and all my gaming consoles that's strong enough to run the games I play and much of those are high revolution. High performance games.

we are trying to find out how to get this sorted and what I wanna know is if I booked them to install the sky broadband. On the 11th of December when do I pay do I have to pay today or do I pay an installation fee. Also do I need to have a sky landline in order to get a broadband installed ?

many thanks

Re: Sky broadband installation

@Busdriver29 Use the sky link to see what can would be offered at the address from the link below, that determines speed and package connection at the home, without knowing that first it is hard to say. All sky systems come with a lanline as standard, the cost is free and you do not have to connect a landline phone to the connection at all, the delivery is by either copper cable or Full Fibre connection.

There is a deposit for a new customer and can be fully refundable into the first bill, also a charge for delivery of the sky Hub, £5 and £10 accordingly, the first payment is on the activation day that is when your system goes live so the bill start's then and if paying by Direct Debit the money is 7-10 day's later from that date taken out off the account, you always pay 1 month up front with BB/Talk....

Install is normally 14-21 days and upto 90 day's if issues, very unlikely you will be able to hit the 11th Dec but that would not be known until you place an order and that is confirmed to you a few day's latter possibly once sky know what can be done!
