Sky broadband connection to new home
Hi
I'm moving to a newly built property in next month and need to continue with my current sky connection ( TV and broad band fibre connection) However there is no connectivity as per the checker as this is new built. How can I sort this out please? I cannot proceed with the home move option from the app due to some reason. Please advise
Thanks

Re: Sky broadband connection to new home
The developer of the new estate is responsible for providing the chambers for the phone lines. Some builders (Perssimon) have a tie up with a provider, which you are stuck with. Although Persimmon have just sold this concern to another company.
You will need to find out who is providing the telecoms infrastructure on this new estate. It may not be Openreach or City Fiber, who Sky use. The sales office onsite should have this information.
Sometimes there is a lag between the new house being built and connection to the network.

Re: Sky broadband connection to new home
@Sunethweerarath new build homes have to be added to the postcode database before they will appear on the checkers Sky use so enter your new address here https://www.royalmail.com/find-a-postcode if it is listed call Sky as it could be simply there are issues the online tool cannot cope with.
However it is sensible to check with the developer/builder if they have laid the necessary infrastructure for Openreach or City Fibre which are the two network operator Sky can use for broadband. Some developers notably Persimmons make deals with third party networks limiting the ISPs you can use.
The TV services are simpler as Sky TV services do not require Sky Broadband but do check if you have Sky Q that the developer allows you to have satellite dishes on your new property.
