Sky box dropping out

Our WiFi box periodically stops working with an orange light on the box. We then have to reboot to gEt working again, 

 

we have not had any previous issues with other providers WiFi boxes why is the sky box sub standard

@Adam1012 the internet light showing amber simply means the hub has lost connection which is far more likely due to a line fault rather thanthe hub being faulty. Line faults are not uncommon and can happen at anytime, so you are probably blaming the wrong thing. Sky have over 6 million hubs in use inevitably some are faulty but the massive majority work reliably.

 

Run the connection test in the My Sky app while the hub is connected as the bot can book an engineer to check the line or tell you if Sky are aware of an issue affecting your line. If it doesnt help give Sky a call.

Hi, I have run these tests multiple times and spoken to someone and been told there is no issue on the line. These issues only began when I switched from EE and fibre was fitted. The 'line' is more unreliable than ever before, I as the end user can only put this down to one thing.
