Re: Sky booster 4

I have a Sky Booster 4.  Does anyone know what the default password is for logging into the damn thing?

I don't have Q anymore just Sky Stream and my Trusty old SR203 with FTTP Gigabit Ethernet.

The Sky Wifi Max Router and pods are being returned.

As for the Sky Booster 4, I've tried resetting the booster to defaults.

And hoping it would use the same password as my router but sadly it does not.

No mention of detault u/n or p/w on the hardware either.  It's currently in ethernet AP mode and honestly I expected better performance particularly over ethernet.  I'm wondering if certain settings are enabled by default to improve the Q system which is obviously of no concern to me any longer as I use Stream.  For example pluging ethernet into the same gigabit switch to my macbook results in around 900mbps. Removing ethernet from the Mac and plugging the Sky Booster 4 into the same port and turning on wifi in the same room lterally no more than four feet away results in 350-400mbps.

Just checking if the serial number or mac are the default passwords,

any advice appreciated.

Sky wireless boosters aren't intended to give users access to a GUI, although I believe they do have one.
