Sky Ultrafast + Very Poor Downloads Speeds but slightly faster upload speeds

We have noticed that our Ultra Fast Plus broadband has been getting progressively slower since the initial installation. When we test now we are only getting around

Download
6.25 Mb/s
Upload
15.08 Mb/
Not what you expect when you pay so much for this service

@Jinji  How are you doing speed tets?   Are you using ethernet connected devices or over wifi?

Please can you post your router stats so the forum can advise on any issues. This link explains how to do that https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Broadband/How-to-find-your-Sky-Broadband-router-stats/td-p/2855717#

Like you I'm a customer here, Sky Employees are clearly identified as such.

Re: Sky Ultrafast + Very Poor Downloads Speeds but slightly faster upload speeds

@Jinji

You likely have a throughput fault with the speeds reported even over wireless you should expect more than those throughput speeds, the router status shows the link connection is working fine locally. But it could be contention or a fault even though the router status seems to suggest otherwise...

You'll usually find that Sky won't take the fault or congestion issue seriously when it isn't shown so on the router stats but something is wrong when those throughput speeds are reported so slow on a 550Mbps/75Mbps connection. You have a wireless and a hardwire device connection, so ensure testing speeds over ethernet or wireless 5Ghz preferably which is likely the case.
