Sky Stream with Mesh WiFi?
Hi all,
We currently have Sky Q with 2 Sky mini boxes. It was a bit of a nightmare to set up with ASUS ZenWiFi but I got it working eventually by connecting each mini box to one of the ZenWiFi nodes via ethernet.
I've seen Sky Stream is now the new version of Sky Q. Does Sky Stream work the same as a firestick/apple TV where each box simply needs an internet connection?
Cheers

Re: Sky Stream with Mesh WiFi?
@stevenayers The Stream pucks are simple WiFi clients so they do not act as WiFi hotspots as the Q boxes do when paired with the correct Sky hub. There are pros and cons firstly if you switch from Sky Q you may need new WiFi extenders to replace the Q boxes hotspots. However the Q mesh while pretty advanced when launched has not aged well and does not support today's higher speeds.
