Have a weird issue recently and can't figure out if it's broadband causing this is the router itself.
Everytime the broadband drops, the Sky provided router (Sky Hub) seems to break itself. By this I mean I have zero access to the router itself for about 5 minutes (192.168.0.1 is taking too long to respond) and I can't ping it. Is the router itself causing the issues or the broadband dropping causing it?
I have checked the 'Service Checker' but it always says there is no issue and can connect to the router even when the router is disconnected.
Any suggestions would be appriciated.

The most likely reason is the router interface is non-responsive when cyberattacks occur, to solve this acquire a new public IP address first by disconnecting the line in the router interface or switching off the router for about an hour and see if things improve.
