Sky Q box disconnects

Recently upgraded to Sky Full Fibre 500 and WiFi Max. Sky Q box and Sky Mini connect to the router by wifi, but the connection drops constantly. Other devices on the network are fine. I've gone through multiple reboots and network settings resets, without any joy. The Sky Q box is in the same room as the router, so couldn't be any closer

@Tom+R if you have the white max router you need to connect your Q main box to the router by using the ssid and password and NOT USING WPS. Treat the router as a third party router, then the mini boses need to be connected to the Q main box by way of the WPS button.

I may be a Sky Superuser but I am still just a Sky customer

Re: Sky Q box disconnects

Thanks. Counter-intuitive but I'll give it a go. I'm also thinking of trying wired Ethernet between the Q box and router - but that would require disconnecting the Q box from the satellite dish , which I understand won't work.

Re: Sky Q box disconnects

Unfortunately the problem persists. A reset works for a short period, but then Sky Q loses the network and has to be reset again. Would ethernet be more stable? The problem with that is there is only one ethernet port on the Q box, already in use for the dish
