I want to connect my laptop to my Sky Q Router via one of the ethernet ports on the back of the router, but none of the lights are flashing and the ports look dead. I've tried going into my Sky Q Hubs control panel online but there's nowhere obvious to set up/turn on the ethernet connections. I want to continue to connect with all other devices in my house via WiFi.

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreEthernet is enabled on the Hub by default, so there should be no need to make any changes. Is the ethernet known to be good, and has the laptop connected by ethernet before?

Ok thank you, there are no lights (orange or green) flashing on the back of the router where the ethernet cable plugs in so i assume they're not working.

Have you connected the Ethernet cable to the hub and the device; then no flashing lights? They won't kick in until a cable is connected.
