Sky Phone Numbers not Working

When the latest price rises came out in March, I cancelled my Sky broadband and phone. It said clearly in the notice of increase that there was no early termination charge if you did this within 30 days. A Sky retentions assistant confirmed this when I didn't sign up to any of his offers and I wrote to Sky to confirm that I should not have to pay the early termination charge. Yesterday I got an email saying that they were going to charge me £100.67 early termination. I have spent the morning trying to speak to someone in billing or complaints but none of the phone numbers work on my mobile or landline - they just cut out. I even tried the chat bot which told me to telephone and gave me one of the same numbers that didn't work. Has anyone else experienced this or does anyone have any advice please?

@Eve42 it is possible there is an issuecwith Sky's phones so I am escalating your post to the Sky team who support the forum who should be in touch soon to offer you a private online chat session to get this sorted. Keep an eye on the forum as if you miss the message just click the brightly coloured chat icon which will be added to the forum pages for you to use.saving a long phone call.

I was about to cancel my broadband as it has raised £26pm to £49pm which is ridiculous. Sky were contacted by another provider to tell them & I got an offer of £23 pm via email & text msg. Told to contact them on number provided, I did yesterday (only 1 & 1/2 days after it was offered)& the customer services said NO it must've been a mistake & I can't take up the offer & said cheapest was £33.50. Better than £49 but not good enough after saying £23! After concentrating on understanding what the person was saying in unclear English I was very frustrated. 
Trying again today but no numbers are working & say not recognised even tho even the virtual assistant number given. Any ideas cos I imagine the offer will expire through no fault of my own.
