Sky Max hub 2.4Ghz setting
Has anyone come across on Sky Max Hub, when trying to turn off/disable the 5Ghz setting and leaving just the 2.4Ghz, the 5 Ghz slides back on so unable to turn it off all using the download sky app
Thanks

Re: Sky Max hub 2.4Ghz setting
@Hya you should never have to turn off the 5GHz band apart from while you are actually connecting a device thst cannot connect to the dualband SSID. Doing so seriously reduces speed. Once connected switch the 5GHz signal back on. On the older black hubs you can split the two bands if you want you cannot do thst on the newer white hubs as it breaks WiFi6.
What colour is your Sky hub? If it is black follow the instructions here Split Sky WiFi bands.
If the hub is white the switch should be in the hub's advanced settings in the My Sky app however if these settings are not showing and it is 24 hours since the hub was delivered call Sky as the hub has not been matched to your account.

Sky Max White hub router
I need to set up doorbell camera it only accepts 2.4Ghz, when trying to dsiable 5Ghz it slides back to 5Ghz, there's no way to save/confirm the settings on the sky app once you've made the changes, the doorbell camera app doesn't see the wi-fi network at all
