Sky Max WIFI wont hold a stable IP connection

Hi does anyone have a fix or route to solve the intermitant Wifi offered by the Sky Max router, tried the security downgrade to WPA, changed the router, had the inbound broadband monitored and aligns to the 300Mbps, no problems, moved the router to the centre of the house for line of sight. Only 19devices connected at a maximum so not overloading which is a common statement.

Wifi signal just so unstable, phones reconnect dont connect, Team sessions drop / lock, circle of death on Sky Q,  Netflix/Disney stop on a regular basis, seems like the router is not fit for purpose in a world of high use and homeworking.

Any suggestions, such as a alternative mesh system thats been good would be interested appriciate the cost but dont see Sky fixing this one.

Please keep any reboot the router and hold the WPS for 30Sec suggestions like the Sky script 😂

Note that WPA2-PSK using AES is the lowest you'd want to run wireless security: everything below that (including WPA2-TKIP) has been successfully defeated and is attackable with widely available tools.

Understand the vulenrability it causes, but my wireless printer requires the setting, and there are others suggesting that it speeds up the throughput and session stability of the router.

Seems like there is no fix to the poor router capability and its going to be a mesh investment

A printer manufactured in the past decade should be capable of WPA2-PSK.  Compromising network security to use an older model seems unwise.

Personally I think that's unlikely.

Posts do suggest Max has ongoing issues for some users.
